About

Pregnancy isn’t just a lead-up to parenthood. It’s a full-body initiation.

Birth asks for strength, stamina, adaptability, and the ability to stay present when things get intense. Parenthood asks for even more. Our Prenatal Yoga Series is designed to prepare you for all of it — the hard work, the tenderness, the unpredictability, and the deep, life‑changing joy.

This series isn’t about having the “perfect” pregnancy or training for a specific kind of birth. It’s about building a nervous system, body, and mindset that can meet whatever unfolds with more steadiness and trust.

Over six weeks, we focus on practices that support you now and later — during labor, early parenthood, and beyond.

What We’re Really Practicing

  • Strength that’s functional, not performative. We build the kind of strength that supports your joints, pelvis, and spine — strength you can actually use when things get demanding.

  • Breath under pressure. You’ll learn how to breathe through discomfort, intensity, and uncertainty—skills that matter not just on your mat but in labor, childbirth, and through the demands of parenthood.

  • Keeping a regulated nervous system. We work with the nervous system directly, helping you practice down‑regulation, resilience, and recovery—so you’re not just white-knuckling through pregnancy and childbirth, but learning how to take care of yourself and come back to center through it all.

  • Connection to your body and your baby. You’ll be guided to listen inward, build trust in your body’s signals, and deepen your relationship with this pregnancy—without pressure or spiritual bypassing.

  • Being in community. You’ll move alongside other pregnant people who are navigating similar changes, questions, and emotions—no fixing, no comparing, just shared humanity.

This Series Is For You If You’re:

  • Preparing for the physical and emotional intensity of birth

  • Wanting to stay active and strong in a way that actually feels supportive

  • Curious about how nervous system regulation can support pregnancy and parenting

  • Experiencing normal pregnancy aches, fatigue, or overwhelm and want relief

  • Looking for space to slow down, tune in, and feel less alone

You don’t need to have everything figured out.

You just need a place to practice meeting what’s here — with strength, softness, and support.

That’s what this series is for.

Drop-in
  • "Pregnancy hasn’t been easy for me. Getting myself up every weekend to make it to prenatal yoga at Honey has been an easy choice to make though! I wish I found it earlier in my pregnancy. Rae and Jomally are a joy to practice with. The community they’re building of honest conversations about pregnancy while providing consistent weekly support has been a pleasure to be around."

    — Kira M.

  • “I felt seen. I felt capable of every position/stretch shown to us which was very empowering during this stage of life. I felt welcomed by Rae who was a radiant light every Sunday morning. I would highly recommend it to every pregnant woman!”

    — Kelly P.

  • “I am so grateful I began taking this series early in my pregnancy. I feel calmer and more prepared for birth than I ever thought I could.”

    — Wyn F.

  • It is never too early to start practicing prenatal yoga. In fact, you can practice prenatal yoga even when you're not pregnant!

Prenatal yoga is, among other things, a fantastic prep for the hard work of pregnancy, labor, birth and the biggie, parenthood. Get here early (in pregnancy), and stay late (allllllllll the way to the end. Seriously.).

  • There are many, many, many studies that suggest yoga is not only safe, but beneficial for pregnant people. If you have concerns, please check with your provider.

  • It is not safe to practice yoga is you have a condition called placenta previa. This can only be diagnosed by a medical professional. Please check with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.

  • We highly recommend at least 2 yoga classes/week to maximize the benefits for birth and postpartum recovery!

  • Come to yoga. It usually makes you feel better. For a while, anyway.

  • Let us know (especially if you named the baby after us) and we will suspend your membership for up to six weeks. Come back when you're ready, but we really don't want to see you on the mat until you stop bleeding your own blood. (This is different for everyone. Best to check with your healthcare provider if you have any concerns.)

  • No!! Many of our teachers have specialized and extended prenatal training and you are welcome in any Honey Yoga class.

  • Our series' are specialty classes that require their own passes to attend. See above for your options on how to register for this series!
