Heal, Transform, Lead: Discover your True Self with Yoga Teacher Training
Honey Yoga’s teacher training will prepare you to teach yoga safely and in your own, authentic way.

But that’s just the beginning.

Over the course of our training you will learn the power yoga has to introduce you to your authentic self.

Through hands-on instruction, mentorship, interactive lectures with experienced teachers and experts, relationship-building, self-study, and lots and lots of postures, breathing, and meditating, you will experience a deep-dive into what yoga truly is, and what it means to be a leader in a yoga community.

Our next Yoga Teacher Training will begin in the Spring of 2025.

Call us or shoot us an email to ask questions, learn more, and get a feel for what this training will be like. Better yet, sign up for our intro offer and immerse yourself in our community, get to know our teachers (many of whom will be guest teaching and mentoring in this training), and learn what Honey Yoga is all about.

Teaching yoga is…

“We have this mistaken idea in society that wisdom is something you acquire. In fact, we are born with it. It’s just that over the years, it gets buried under many, many layers. Through the process of yoga, we slowly uncover it.

Teaching Yoga is to teach people that process of uncovering—the process of discovering the vastness of their inherent inner wisdom.” –Bridget Regan, Honey Yoga co-founder

TEACHING STAFF

Bridget Regan: YTT Lead, owner & co-founder of Honey Yoga

Lunita Velásquez

After completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 with Mosaic Yoga I knew that it was only the beginning of my exploration as a teacher. I had an immense desire to go deeper, to tap into the mystic realms of the Yogic path. My commitment to the work of healing has led me to sit with (and learn from) various authentic scholars, healers, practitioners, and lineage based wisdom keepers.

My healing arts education background is diverse and fueled by my personal quest for holistic well being, creative embodiment, and self discovery. The path has allowed for me to receive direct teachings from pioneering elders in the women’s spirituality movement such as Vicki Noble. Also, initiated devotional study with yogini priestess Laura Amazzone, a year long apprenticeship with Active Culture Family, Reiki Master transmission from Hannah Salas of Open Apothecary, Trauma Informed Studies for Yoga Teachers with Hala Khouri, Yoga Nidra Healer Training with Katya Lovejoy, and Yin Teacher Training (30-hour Continuing Education) with Nikki Rae Bose of Reunify Yoga.

What has emerged from these years of learning and practice is an embodied, organic chronicle of applied tools that I can share from the voice of my lived experience. I do not share anything that is not an integrated part of my life, body, and personal sādhanā.

Rebecca DiMidio

Greetings Co-Creators, Mystics, Humans and Friends! My name is Rae and a great hello to everyone out there who is in the everyday effort to transcend the bullshit!  What lights me up about being on this planet is receiving the honor of being behind the scenes in the shit storm with a fellow human.  What sets my heart on fire is being a hype woman in peoples corners and listening to their real life stories. And what inspires me is continuing to dismantle my own beliefs of perfectionism, to embrace messiness and to be vulnerable in the face of adversity.

I believe devoutly that life is a practice. And in the practice we are students, meaning making mistakes while getting aces also. If we can humble ourselves enough to be influenced and inspired by life through its many valleys and peaks, then we can share from a place of deep truth. Truth is essential for becoming present. And becoming present is an art form. Within shifting into presence we are led to “all in passion”. ‘All in Passion’ means committing to the presence within us and showing up in our most authentic selves. And this type of passion leads to expansion. This is my human experience and my ethos.

In my life, I am human. I am a truth seer and teller, an artist and a poet, an experience collector and space creator. I am a lover of ritual, nature, movement and staring at nothing while sitting still. I believe that cursing clears your throat chakra and that big emotions move mountains. I believe in everyday miracles and hanging out in the darkness, ‘feeling’ instead of ‘configuring’. I believe that being human is holy. I believe that no one is better than another because we all put on our pants the same way.

As far as the semi boring but also reputable stuff I have my bachelors degrees in Art with a specialization in Art Therapy and one in Health Sciences. I have my Masters degree in Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture. I am a level 2 Integrative Energy Medicine Practitioner and I am a Registered Yoga Teacher. I am a Virgo sun, Gemini moon and Leo rising. I am an INFJ Myers Briggs combo and a number 4 Enneagram. I’m sure there is a plethora of more but it doesn’t really matter.

I’m here to inspire others into their “All in Passion”. This is what light me the f!$k up! I can’t wait to be there with you!

Jomally Fernández

My mission is to provide a safe space, free of judgement or expectations, where individuals of all ages, backgrounds, creeds, and gender identities feel welcome in their full capacity; to create an opportunity for self inquiry, discovery, empowerment and acceptance through the practice of yoga. My practice has carried me through many health and emotional challenges and allowed me to find a deep connection, love and respect for my body and mind’s wellbeing. I found strength, my inner warrior, and peace, my soul connection, in the midst of the chaos and it is my desire to help others connect to the divine & warrior that inhabits us all. I'm an afro latina from Puerto Rico, ocean lover and life enthusiast! My biggest role is as mama to Ananda Maya and proud partner to Brian.

My 200-hr YTT at Honey Yoga was truly life changing....I knew deep down I wanted to teach yoga some day but was nervous on how or where to even start. The whole experience was so powerful. Not only did I learn how to teach and honor the sacred practice of yoga but I also learned more about myself and the world around me. The community aspect is also amazing! I highly recommend taking a YTT at Honey if you’re looking for an inclusive, technical and also spiritual training that honors the tradition of yoga.
