Info Session & Q+A 〰️ Wed. 9/2 @ 12 pm on Zoom 〰️

Picture yourself here.

You wake up to the sound of the jungle and the ocean and wander down for coffee before morning practice. Xinalani’s signature cinnamon coffee is hot and waiting, alongside local artisanal loose-leaf teas and whatever kind of milk you take in yours.

You move. You breathe. You sweat. And then you head to breakfast hungry.

The buffet is abundant in the way you really want a retreat buffet to be: eggs, beans, tofu, fresh fruit, vegetables, different proteins, fresh juices—colorful, nourishing food packed with actual flavor. There are options for everyone, and there is always more than enough. (Also: dessert. At every meal. As it should be.)

And then the day opens up.

Maybe you head down to the pool, warm from the Mexican sun but still cool enough to feel incredible when you slip in. You claim one of the cushioned daybeds under an umbrella, grab a fresh towel, and look out over the beach and the Bay of Banderas. Swim. Read. Doze off. Get into the Japanese soaking tub. Order another drink. Stay for three hours because you realize there is absolutely nowhere else you need to be.

Later, we come back together. Maybe for a workshop, another yoga practice, happy hour, or dinner down by the beach. You spend the day moving between time alone and time together, and somewhere in there, people who were strangers a few days ago start to feel like old friends.

And at the end of it, you head back to a room that’s already been cared for while you were out living your day. There’s daily housekeeping while you’re at breakfast and turndown service every evening. Even in the shared rooms, your bed has its own privacy net—a little space that belongs entirely to you.

Then comes one of my favorite feelings of retreat: crawling into bed after a full day of sun and swimming and yoga and really good food and friendship. Your body is tired in the best possible way. Your mind is quieter. The bed is waiting.

And you sleep.

Tomorrow, the coffee will be hot and ready all over again when you wake up.

“Xinalani is a dreamy location… Delicious, nourishing food, stunning views; I haven't been able to fully unwind like that in years.” – 2025 attendee

We know because we’ve watched it happen.

Everyone experiences retreat differently. But after two years at Xinalani, we hear the same things again and again from the people who come home. Here they are with some real quotes from past attendees to prove it:

🌊 You actually feel rested.
“I haven't been able to fully unwind like that in years.”

Not “I need a vacation from my vacation” tired. People describe coming home refreshed, rejuvenated, grounded—and in some cases, more relaxed than they’ve felt in years.

🌊 You remember how strong you are.
“I thought I might not be able to keep up with the daily practice. I’m SO GRATEFUL that I learned how strong my body is.”

Seven days of consistent practice does something. You move, sweat, breathe, recover, and get to experience your body outside the usual rush of everyday life.

🌊 You get quieter inside.
“I've had this powerful sense of calm and rootedness with me since returning home.”

There’s less input. Less decision-making. Less managing. Enough repetition of movement, nourishment, nature and rest that your nervous system gets a chance to come down.

🌊 You connect—often more than you expect to.
“For some reason I didn’t go into it thinking I’d come out with new friends, but I did :)”

Long dinners. Pool conversations. Shared practices. Vulnerable moments. A lot of laughing. People have come alone and gone home with friendships they genuinely didn't expect to make.

🌊 You have space to hear yourself again.
“I joined this trip wanting an opportunity to recommit to myself, and that's what I got out of it.”

Some people have big realizations. Others leave with small reminders, a little more clarity, or a renewed sense of trust in themselves. There’s no required breakthrough.

🌊 And something comes home with you.
“What surprised me most is how happy I feel, even after returning home.”

Past guests have talked about carrying home a sense of calm and rootedness, incorporating pieces of the retreat into everyday life, recommitting to themselves, and even being surprised by how happy they still felt after returning home.

What happens when you give yourself the week?

“This retreat is for anybody struggling with burnout, chronic stress, grief, physical or emotional illness who needs to reconnect with self, fellow beings, and the world.” –Scout N. (2026 attendee)

Food was so fresh and tasty! There was something for everyone. Truly nourishing meals. The facilities and accommodations were absolutely gorgeous and the supporting staff were top notch.”

— 2025 attendee

“The food was clean and healthy and loved that they switched it up each day, the juices, the cafe de olla, the pool view was great and loved that it was right on the ocean as well.”

— 2025 attendee

Don’t just take our word for it…

“I was so sad to come home… I cried on the boat ride! I am incorporating little pieces of the relaxed calm I experienced on this trip.”

— Angela N. (2025)

“Nourishing, rejuvenating, and connective. I arrived home feeling absolutely refreshed and emboldened. This retreat helped me relax deeply and soulfully.”

— Scout N. (2026)

“The place itself is so magical. It felt like the staff cared for us so that we could relax and care for ourselves and each other.”

— Becky W. (2026)

“Absolutely magical. The scenery and location was perfect, so calm and peaceful connecting with nature. The styles and energy from both Bridget and Kaia were unique yet balanced. The whole retreat approach and structure was incredibly thoughtful and comprehensive. I can’t wait to come back!”

— Sam R. (2026)

“The people [were the most meaningful part of the trip]! Talking around the dinner table. For some reason I didn’t go into it thinking I’d come out with new friends, but I did :).”

— Ali M. (2025)

“The retreat was relaxing, inspiring, invigorating, and thought-provoking.”

— Maria C. (2025, 2026 attendee)

“Delicious food, a chill ‘take it or leave it’ approach, thoughtfully curated flows/intentions and playlists, gorgeous facilities... would absolutely do it again (and plan to)!”

— 2025 Retreat Attendee

“It was the first time in a good long time that I've felt so much a part of and held by a chosen community of purely wonderful people.”

— A. (2025)

“Every single flow was so, so, meaningful — more than I think I can convey with words.”

— Hannah P. (2025, 2026)

“Just f***ing do it. At a minimum, you'll have a great time in an incredibly beautiful place at a good price. If you're seeking more than just those things, all of the ingredients are there for you to have the deeper experience you really need. There's healing in them hills and sea.”

— A. (2025)

“I feel like a new better version of myself. The yoga, food, accommodations, setting, and activities were all outstanding. And even with all of that, my favorite part was the self discovery and meaningful relationships that we forged.”

— Becky W. (2026)

This Exhale Retreat will be my 4th time to Xinalani since 2025. Having had the privilege of traveling all over the world and seeing many breath-taking places, I can truly say that Xinalan! is one of most exquisite. It's magic is not just in the absolutely stunning facilities and surrounding area, but in the spirit of the people and the energy of the grounds.

Adding retreats to my teaching portfolio has been one of the biggest and most surprising gifts of my career! Getting to see the deep release that people experience being in a container like this and then getting to help them fill that space they've created by letting go with self-expression, authenticity, true connection, and immense love is really the biggest blessing of my life.

I would be honored to have you on our Exhale Retreat this coming March.

There is something undeniably transformative about retreating. The ability to step away from daily life to take a big exhale and remember who you are underneath it all. That's why I've never wanted to lead just another yoga retreat. My hope is always to create an experience that inspires lasting calm, meaningful connection, and a deeper relationship with yourself.

My classes are encouraging and spirited to build both physical resilience and nervous system regulation, while every experience throughout the week is intentionally crafted to support our retreat theme and help you reconnect with your true self. I genuinely believe some of life's most meaningful growth happens in spaces like these, and I am honored to share that journey with you.

Is The Exhale for me?

Maybe you’re already picturing yourself at Xinalani—and then your brain starts giving you all the reasons this might not be for you.

Let’s talk about those.

“I’d be coming alone.”

Please do.

Plenty of people come on retreat without knowing anyone else. In fact, one of our past guests told us she didn’t expect to leave with new friends—and she did.

There’s a funny kind of intimacy that happens when you practice, eat, swim, explore, and spend a week together. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to connect, without being expected to spend every waking minute with the group.

“I’m not that good at yoga.”

You do not need to be.

There will be people on this retreat who practice all the time and people who don’t. Our classes are designed to be challenging and accessible, with options that allow you to meet your body where it is.

This is yoga retreat. Not yoga Olympics.

“I’m worried I won’t want to do everything.”

Good news: you don't have to.

Everything on this retreat is an invitation. If your body is telling you that what you need instead of evening yoga is a nap, take the damn nap.

Go on the excursion. Don't go on the excursion. Spend three hours talking by the pool. Spend three hours alone with your book.

There is no gold star for perfect retreat attendance.

“I’m not sure I’m a ‘retreat person.’”

Honestly, we’re not entirely sure what a “retreat person” is.

You don't need to be particularly spiritual. You don't need to love group activities. You don't need to want a life-changing revelation.

If you like yoga, beautiful places, really good food, interesting people, time outside, and the idea of having very little asked of you for a week, you'll probably do just fine here.

“A whole week away feels impossible.”

We get it.

There is work. Family. Pets. Responsibilities. A million things that seem to make stepping away inconvenient.

And if your life genuinely doesn't allow it right now, that's real.

But if the thing stopping you is that familiar voice saying I can't possibly step away for a whole week—it may be worth asking when, exactly, you plan to give yourself permission to do it.

There will probably never be a week when nobody needs anything from you.

“It’s a lot of money.”

It is.

We’re not going to pretend a $2,500+ retreat isn't a meaningful investment.

But your retreat price includes seven nights at a Three MICHELIN Key resort, all your meals, daily yoga and programming, transportation, and an entire week designed around your wellbeing.

And we’ve worked to make paying for it more manageable. A $500 deposit reserves your spot, and you can choose a six-month payment plan through Honey or explore longer-term financing options through our checkout partners—sometimes with monthly payments as low as $125/month.

“I want to come, but I don’t have anyone to come with.”

See objection #1. :)

But also: you don't need to convince someone else to want this in order to give it to yourself.

50% of our past retreat goers come alone. Some of them loved it so much they brought a friend back with them the next year.

“What if I need a lot of alone time?”

Then take a lot of alone time.

One of our past attendees spent plenty of time by herself, went to bed early, attended the practices she wanted to attend, wrote, stargazed, and swam in the Pacific. She told us afterward: “That’s exactly what I wanted to do, and as a result I got what I wanted and needed out of the trip.”

You are allowed to retreat on your retreat.

“What if I want to come with a friend or partner?”

Also great.

Several of our accommodations are designed for two or three people traveling together. You get all the community of retreat—and someone you already love to share it with.

“What if I don’t have some huge breakthrough?”

You don't need one.

Maybe something cracks wide open. Maybe you gain clarity about something you've been carrying. Maybe you reconnect with a part of yourself you haven't heard from in a while.

Or maybe you swim, do yoga, eat delicious food, laugh a lot, sleep incredibly well, and come home feeling better.

That's enough, too.
