TEACHING STAFF

Bridget Regan

Lead Trainer, Co-founder of Honey Yoga

Bridget has been teaching yoga for 10 years and teaching prenatal yoga for nearly as long. In fact it was a passion for empowering women through pregnancy and birth that led to her first yoga teacher training. A presentation during a women’s studies course in College sparked a fiery passion in her to help create better conditions for pregnant and birthing women, especially in healthcare. Over the past 13 years she has been a birth doula, childbirth and lactation educator, and a prenatal and baby-and-me yoga teacher. She has completed over 200 hours of pre- and post-natal yoga teacher training with some of the best prenatal yoga programs in the country, is trained as both a Lamaze and Hypnobirthing educator, and completed a UCSD course on Lactation Education. Most proudly, she has supported and born witness to over 20 women through the sacred threshold of childbirth as a birth doula. This prenatal training is a long-time coming for Bridget and she truly cannot wait to teach and learn with you.

Lunita Velásquez

After completing a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2017 with Mosaic Yoga I knew that it was only the beginning of my exploration as a teacher. I had an immense desire to go deeper, to tap into the mystic realms of the Yogic path. My commitment to the work of healing has led me to sit with (and learn from) various authentic scholars, healers, practitioners, and lineage based wisdom keepers.

My healing arts education background is diverse and fueled by my personal quest for holistic well being, creative embodiment, and self discovery. The path has allowed for me to receive direct teachings from pioneering elders in the women’s spirituality movement such as Vicki Noble. Also, initiated devotional study with yogini priestess Laura Amazzone, a year long apprenticeship with Active Culture Family, Reiki Master transmission from Hannah Salas of Open Apothecary, Trauma Informed Studies for Yoga Teachers with Hala Khouri, Yoga Nidra Healer Training with Katya Lovejoy, and Yin Teacher Training (30-hour Continuing Education) with Nikki Rae Bose of Reunify Yoga.

What has emerged from these years of learning and practice is an embodied, organic chronicle of applied tools that I can share from the voice of my lived experience. I do not share anything that is not an integrated part of my life, body, and personal sādhanā.
